Cells were isolated from NALT and CLN of Balb/c mice 5, 24 and 72 h after i.n. immunisation with PBS (naïve mice) or LT + Ag85B-ESAT6, and stained with flurochrome-labelled mAb and analysed by flow cytometry in which 20,000-200,000 events were recorded. Numbers are mean percentage of total cells ± SD. * indicates significant values of p < 0.05; **, p < 0.01; ***, p < 0.001, as determined by one-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni's multiple comparison test compared to naïve mice (i.e. 0 h).
